About MGU

MGU is a friendly forum designed to showcase and reward outstanding student research in various aspects of Earth, oceanic, atmospheric, and space sciences, as well as foster interdepartmental dialogue and camaraderie. All faculty, staff, graduate, and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend to learn about the exciting research that is taking place in the UM science community.

Poster Presentations May Win up to $1000

Both graduate and undergraduate students are also invited to submit a poster, and all posters will be judged by department faculty (and could win up to $1000!).

Students: To present a poster, please contact Kate Volk (kevolk@umich.edu) by Friday, March 30th with:

(1) the title of your poster,
(2) a brief abstract summarizing your research, and
(3) the name of your research advisor.

Please include "MGU abstract" in the subject line of your email. Details regarding poster preparations will be made available to you upon receipt of your abstract.
