• Prerequisite: AOSS 401 or Math 450 (4 credits)

  Quasi-geostrophic energetic; fronts; the mean circulation planetary and equatorial waves; overview of the dynamics of the middle atmosphere; wave-mean flow interaction; spectral methods; and tropical meteorology.
