AOSS 441 - Meteorology and Climate of the RockiesĀ

  • Description: This course introduces principles of atmospheric and environmental sciences using the Rocky Mountains as a field laboratory. Students will develop an understanding of meteorological processes to explain variations in microclimates, and the importance of mountainous regions on the earth's climate. Students will gain field-based knowledge of mountain climates and instrumentation.
  • Prerequisite: AOSS 320, AOSS 321, AOSS 323
